Parallels is now available in paperback format. Surprise!
Kindle format TBA, but very soon.
I am super excited to have this book ready for you all to read. Seriously, this has been one hell of a journey in writing.
Since I am not having a launch party / celebration yet, I would just like to shout out to everyone who had a hand in pushing me to reach this goal of beginning a new writing adventure. Thank you to my wonderful husband Aaron who helped edit the book with me and who gave me sound advice on each twist and turn I came up with. (And a huge hug and thank you to my son Bastion who danced and played with Play-Doh as I listened to music and wrote most mornings before work.)
I will announce when the Kindle version is ready. Thank you again everyone.
Hello all of my fans and friends! Today is May 15th, which means I have 14 days until I start school again and then a few days for the release of Parallels after that. I am so excited!
Alright, so the next few months will be interesting to say the least. With Vivian, I didn't market that much. Parallels is different. I feel that this series will explore a lot that commercial fiction won't. tried to go the long route into publishing with 100+ queries out there. With no bite, I knew I couldn't wait for The Parallels Series to begin. I already have the next two books set up and ready to be written.
So the question is, will you be ready to travel to the ends of time with Clara?
Make sure to subscribe to the mailing list for future news & freebies. This is going to be one "hella adventure." (As Derek would say)
Perhaps destiny is not set in stone.
Only time will tell.
Parallels has been in the works for over a year. With hard work and many rewrites, I am finally sending it out into the world. I am considering self-publishing this one, but I'd like to try my hand of cards with Lady Luck first.
Clara Moore is an eighteen year old who is able to turn back time along her lifespan and make edits to choices. Of course these edits will cause ripples along her timelines, sending her into parallel lives where she has to adapt to her surrounding world. Her little sister Penny is sick and time does not seem kind to this situation. While learning how to handle her powers, Clara will also attempt to save her sister no matter how long it takes.
Yes, I was on a bit of a hiatus with keeping up my website. I was pregnant and had my first child: a son on August 7th. He was born on his due date, which only happens to about 5% of Moms-to-be. Labor and delivery went really well with minimal pain - Thank goodness for keeping active and fit all throughout my pregnancy. I kept focused and calm, breathed deeply, and kept my mind on the little wiggly boy I was about to meet. I am so happy to be a new Mom - I cannot explain how amazing it felt to hold him those first precious moments he emerged into the world. Nothing will ever feel as good as it did to meet the second love of my life.
Despite the few less hours of sleep a night, I'm definitely ready to write again. Bastion Paolo will be proud of his Mommy. :) Stay tuned for updates. Vivian, Rising is coming.
