Every writer has something to inspire and motivate them to press on. I personally look to nature to stay motivated. Sometimes I take a small notebook with me outside, sit in silence, and wait for the birds and sunlight and trees to do the talking.
For those writer's who are wondering how to keep motivated - that sunset isn't doing the trick today - check out the blog "10 Tricks to Motivate Yourself to Write Right Now." This blog post covers some basic points us writers overlook all the time. My favorite quote says, "Remind yourself that you are playing a necessary role in society and, without you, a big part of what makes this world move forward will be missing." I think this quote speaks levels for how important our passion is.
Wow, summer has flown by quite like one Blue Heron who swoops in my pond and leaves as I spot him. I sit outside on the porch sometimes and wonder where time has gone this year. Between work and writing my next novel, it's hard to keep track of the days. I am excited to graduate this semester. I have indeed worked my bum off to get here.
I am also anxious to start freelancing. Currently, I am preparing a web page solely for this. I am researching how to begin my new adventures in writing. I will print out business cards and search online.
I am a happy woman.
