A few poems and selections of my past
Fire & Rain, a short story
Megan, a short memoir
FishingYou seem so clever - How charming - Just lure her in On that fish-hook stare She dangles in mid-air Lingering alongside your grin Paw at her Loosen the world And unravel that heart She keeps locked away At the ocean's basement No one will suspect foul play Not with such perfect features On that foreign face of yours And she - she is trapped Entwined by false trust Do not worry When you capture her wholly Like the many before - They, too, dangled on a wire - Laughter of evil intentions Spilled like waves from your mouth Cannot harm her She will not be consumed She will not be fooled Your reel is breaking |
The Slow Go
The slow go
Of your soft touch Onto moist skin In the summer grind That’s what drives me wild It devours me whole Crunches my bones Into dust-dreams Sweeping along the coast I peel inhibitions off my mind We slide together Two souls melting Under scorching heat Raining from sea-clouds Salt-sweat beads from my breast A low wave Paints our silhouette One figure of passion In the way of nature Our ocean crashes like symbols The slow go Of your soft touch On my sandy skin In the summer Grind. |
